Julius von Bismarck did one of the most stunning projects I’ve seen for a long time - the Image Fulgerator. He describes as as follows:

“The Image Fulgurator is a device for physically manipulating photographs. It intervenes when a photo is being taken, without the photographer being able to detect anything. The manipulation is only visible on the photo afterwards.
In principle, the Fulgurator can be used anywhere where there is another camera nearby that is being used with a flash. It operates via a kind of reactive flash projection that enables an image to be projected on an object exactly at the moment when someone else is photographing it.”

Some time ago i was reading an article at wired.com about the Phoenix Mars Lander giving regular updates and answering questons over Twitter.
Last week i met some people who are really hooked on twitter (one claiming that he would never date a girl whos not using twitter o_o).

So what is Twitter?

Microblogging (>140 charachters) network delivering updates via twitter, sms, email and facebook. Your updates are public by default but you can also restrict availability to people in your followers list. You can also define which peoples updates you want to recieve at your devices. Interstroups can be formed and the groups updates followed.

Twitter can be used to spread information instantly and completely mobile as updates can be published and recieved by your mobile phone.

The Twitter development began in 2006 in the San Francisco based company Obvious, LLC. In April 2007 the company spun off Twitter as a separate entity under the name Twitter Inc. with Jack Dorsey, who is regarder as the man behind Twitter, as its CEO.

eines der vielen dinge, die ich am flohmarkt ohne bestimmten verwendungszweck gekauft habe, ist ein sogenannter bildwerfer. er stammt aus der zeit vor overhead und anderen durchlichtprojektoren. das interessante daran ist, dass das gerät zum einen auflichtvorlagen abbilden kann und zum anderen diese in einer, für die verwendeten kunststofflinsen, bemerkenswerten schärfe und tiefe zeigt.

2.5 scheint zu funktionieren. ich sollte wieder einmal ein paar stunden in mein frontend investieren. kann ja nicht sein, dass das zeug hinten fast besser ausschaut….
